Yes you will find the pdf download there.

The file is too large for the scarab forum until I find out how to change some forum preferences and/or Andy does it for me

The link at the start of the topic below works (as I just used it!) and is the latest version

http://scarabminiatures.com/forum/viewt ... f=42&t=988

In the same topic, if you scroll down, you will also find the file itself as an attachment as we have changed the maximum file sizes (thanks Andy)

Any problems, please let me know via the Scarab web site- cheers
kind regards

New version uploaded :)
First post updated.
Direct link: http://scarabminiatures.com/forum/downl ... php?id=739

Changes Version 2

Cav with CA/SA3 and Mo7 incl. carbine 14 points
Inf with CA/SA3 and Mo7 incl. musket and bayonet 8 points

Differences
LinenCav-rule: +4 points (AV 1->2, D8 over half strength, +1 charge bonus)
per skill change +/-2 point (-1 when Inf, +3 when Light Inf +1 SA)
Drilled +3 points
Feign Flight +2 points
Undisciplined - no reduction (already cheap troops)
Unmotivated -1 point
Fearsome Reputation +1 point
Light Infantry +2 points
AV +1 +3 points
Rifles +2 points
Lance +2 points
Thrusting Spear +1 point

Rankbonus
Normally, but only for battle formations exactly 6 models wide

Musket
Massed Missle instead of salvoe, but only for units wider than six
First shot KA4, even on long range

Lance instead of Light Lance/Kontos
because lance only reduce the armour value it is ok for the period, that make the additional weapon rule

Line-Infantry
Special rule deleted, its part of the rank bonus, musket and square rules

Orders
Only with 2D6, SIP

Artillery-Formation
Batteries (except horse artillery) can be deployed as entrenched, put the bases together, and count as in formation.
Not-entrenched batteries count as skirmishers in case of being charged and are deployed with gaps up to 2" like skirmishers. An entrenched battery loose the benefit if it is limbered. Non-entrenched batteries can be moved up to 4" without being limbered.

Artillery-Damage
Roll to hit normally, damage is one roll KA (3/4/5 for light/medium/heavy) per rank, D3 in case of skirmishers.
Officers can be attached to batteries and gives them +1 SA

Light Cavalry/Infantry
Can change formation (command test) from skirmishing to formation, not required vice

Reserve
Up to 33% of the army can be declared as reserve. The general can bring the units on the table somewhere at the own table edge by a successful order (so the french general can bring up to two units :) ). Those units can ove normally but not charge. Only horse artillery can do so, not normal one.

Square
Not allowed as charge reaction any longer

Spain
Updated

Sources
Links again implemented were lost, mainly

Hi, a few questions:
- do muskets, rifles, cannons, etc. get an AP modifier or are meant to be without intentionaly?
- Weapon ranges are meant as long range, correct? So effective range is half of it?
- LINE CAVALRY rule: Is the +1 AV bonus to be counted in adition to the value listed in the army lists or is already included.
- MUSKET rule: shouldnt be mass shooting for muskets restricted to 2 ranks?

Army Lists (UK, not sure about others): as writen Officers have 10" ZoC, but 5" for ORDERS?
oversight? Should be 5" for both?

Hi.

- do muskets, rifles, cannons, etc. get an AP modifier or are meant to be without intentionaly?
It is without intentionaly, armour isn't a major factor within the troop types and a high KA ensures a better chance to make damage

- Weapon ranges are meant as long range, correct? So effective range is half of it?
Yep, its always the maximum range, half is effective.

- LINE CAVALRY rule: Is the +1 AV bonus to be counted in adition to the value listed in the army lists or is already included.
The AV value in the stats is already calculated with the line cav bonus.

- MUSKET rule: shouldnt be mass shooting for muskets restricted to 2 ranks?
You have to be at least 7 wide to get the mass shooting possibility and you cannot use it against enemy units closer than 8". So all can shoot. Against an attack column (exactly 6 models wide) the shooting unit has a great disadvantage, so only shooting with two ranks would be not worth it. Its more a balance montivated rule than a realistic handling here.

Army Lists (UK, not sure about others): as writen Officers have 10" ZoC, but 5" for ORDERS?
You are right, it must be 5", orders can only be sent within the ZoC.

Hope you have fun playing the game. The great value of it, me think, is in big battles because of the easy handling of all units. And it looks fantastic :)
