Warband cavalry units

Hi,

Can someone remind me......?

In Early WAB (as compared to WAB the Latter) If you have a unit of warband cavalry, how can you get the LD modifier for ranks - I thought at one time I read that it went on numbers in the unit rather than the ranks that the unit is deployed in.

You still get the rank bonus for LD as per all units. But you'll not recieve any combat bonus unless specifically stated.
