Scrivs, there will be some terrain, just not 'mountains' of it?

As for 'shooty' armies... well we don't (as yet) have a load of them neither?

It will mostly be the same crowd that played at Toy Soldier.....

sounds like a fun relaxed event to me?
you know it makes sense

That is a fine sentiment, but in many years of organising, umpiring and gaming there are some unsavoury individuals who will take the army and attitude that will win them the event to the detriment of the five poor buggers who have to play them.
There are three or four people barred from ever attending any FoW events that I run for this reason (not that I run any FoW events any more, but I would not want them at anything I arrange).

That's just the 28mm stuff, I'm not even going to start on the other scales.

There will be two of us attending from Stafford Gamers!

I will be using Early Macedonians even though I don't like Oracles and John will be using Late Persians.

So two new lambs to the slaughter! :D

Indian 'A' for me.

Just a quick note for AB users - check your army list manually as well, AB is not always correct!

Have decided to use Persians from ATG list.

It seems appropriatte that as I expect to end up in the bottom of the tabke that I should use an army in decline...

Besides, I don't have to worry about transporting an army from the US to play with.

Thanks Andy.

Well Phil,

don't go mad on the cavalry, add in some scythed chariots, and you may be surprised!

I've been having a few games with the late Persians, with some success
