There will be a WR event at the Worlds in Derby this year (minimum entries permitting). THe rules are a development of WECW and have been play tested for several years. There is a choice of armies from:

Italian Wars: French, Spanish, Swiss, Italian City States
French Wars of Religion: Catholic, Huguenot
Dutch Wars: Spanish, Dutch
30 Years War: Imperialist, Swedish, Bohemian
English Civil War: Royalist, Parliamentarian, New Model, Covenanter, Scots Royalist
Eastern: Polish, Muscovite, Cossack, Ottoman Turk

The army size is 1800 pts. All armies must have an army general. There are many play test sets of rules already out there but the final set are available on CD upon entry to this event. There have only been a few changes from the last variation and the lists from last year are still generally the same. The figure scale is 25/28mm.
