Trafalgar suggestions in WI

Has anyone else seen the suggested rules amendments from David MANLEY in this months wargames illustrated, most are pretty good and don't slow the game down at all. I particularly like narrowing the raking angles.

They are interesting but too many of them seem to be putting rules or exceptions on top of rules and destroy some of the fun, feel and simplicity of Trafalgar. If I want accuracy I will play with Mr Langton's rules.

I suggested something similar in my review in Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy. Trafalgar has all the makings of a very good game, there's just a few edges that need to be 'roughed off' - I'd recommend use what house rules you'd like to see. So read through WI and pick what works for you.

Anyone got these ideas available to the forum for these house rules, seems odd not putting them in a place which is directly and offically supportive of the rules...
