A slightly 'cheesy' question.

In the later Achaemenid list, the allies include Lykians. These chaps were armed with the drepanon or war sickle. This seems to have been wielded one handed and is counted as a halberd in the List.

My question - as it was used one handed can Lykians count shielded as well as using a halberd?
