Question about Comitatenses/Warlord

Postby Bazyl » Wed Sep 07, 2011 1:20 pm

Hello, I'm James from Poland and I've decided to build my first 2000 pts WAB army.
I want to have FotW-based army of a Roman noble general, deployed in Gaul and ready to crush a hordes of terrible longbeard barbarians :) .

Because I'm completely newbie, I ask for help. I can't choose between Comitatenses and Warlord option. Firstly, I tried to spend points on Characters and Infantry:

Characters: (214/2000 pts, 10,7%)
Roman General (Warhorse, LA, Shield) @142 pts
ASB (Warhorse, LA, Shield) @72 pts

Infantry: (945/2000 pts, 47,25%)
24 Pedes (including 6 archers, FCG, HTS, LS, Drilled) @273 pts
24 Pedes (including 6 archers, FCG, HTS, LS, Drilled) @273 pts
24 Palantina (FCG, HTS, LA, LS, Drilled) @399 pts

What do you think about it?
There is 841 pts left. Any advices how can I spend it for a cavalry units?
