Hi Dave
I understand Andy Kershaw has already said he will play.
I've been given a weekend Pass by the CinC. So I'll be entering v soon.
Cheers
Andy

I used to be indecisive.
Now I’m not so sure.

I'm bit torn between a Spanish Army, a Numidian Army and a Republican Roman army. The latter being my favourite choice at the moment just from the choice of Allies it can have.

I’ve been looking at the 32 – 0 scoring system for the WAB GT. And I’ve decided to change it for next year to take into account the larger points being used and to encourage more aggressive play; by not using a totally linier scale. (the old one was not ideal)
Would you like a copy worked out for 4200 pts for you to use at the pillage? 8)
Cheers
Andy

Hi all.
Ten entrants so far. Twelve would be nice - Sixteen would be better.

Over the course of this month I'd like to start seeing peoples money and having army choices confirmed.
I don't need army lists until June.

Hi Dave, I will be using my evil chinese. It will be the first time I have been able to use all my chariots (16). Mind you if I have to play Waynes Indians I am doomed.

Yes, Warring states only let me have up to 25% chariots. (silly restriction) so Han it is.

Just a note I can have Xiongnu allies, can I take a unit of Noble cavelry and a unit of horse archers, or do I have to take two units of horse archers

From the most up-to-date eratta as I read it :-
Use of Allies and Mercenaries.
Point 2 Any compulsory units.......must be taken first.
Therefore you must have at least 2 units of horse-archers before choosing anything-else.

Dave - as you know I would have loved to have come to this however my daughter has her 16th birthday on the 21st and I just won't be able to make the tournament (young madam has put her foot down). Just hoping that all goes well for you and I hope to see you all at the Axes 2012 in Rushden in August.

Less than a week to go.
Ten players but I get to play now.
Scenario 1
Han Chinese v Ancient Indian
Kushan v Germans (I don't think I'm going to like this)
Sassanid v Imperial Roman
Hindu Indian v Greek
Seleucid v Persian

That'll be 42000pts on the tables.
It is big. It might be clever.

See you there. Dave.P

Andy Pickering is playing after-all. So I'm back in the reserves.
His Spanish can play the Kushans instead of me - good luck to him..
Good luck to everybody. See you Saturday.
