All of which are attended by a die-hard core of dedicated old-time fans, but remain difficult for new recruits. In fact, it's easy to get classic Battletech rules compared to WAB. But it's great to see those lingering 6-8 of the old Battletech (or whatever) faithful at convention games. I'll be happy for those last few WAB fans at conventions/events too. Glad to see people still enjoying it. I'll enjoy it too, when there's not something better or more accessible going on.
Edit: Actually, Mordheim is easy to access and enjoyed far more promotion (and popularity) from GW, and better crossover from the WFB players, than WAB ever did. Last time we tried to get that going again we had a few people interested and it dried up after a just few games. Again, good luck to WAB. I'm sure it will be much different/popular.
