That is a fine sentiment, but in many years of organising, umpiring and gaming there are some unsavoury individuals who will take the army and attitude that will win them the event to the detriment of the five poor buggers who have to play them.
There are three or four people barred from ever attending any FoW events that I run for this reason (not that I run any FoW events any more, but I would not want them at anything I arrange).

I'm thinking of using B Spanish, purely as no one ealse is, B republican roman or C consular roman. Playing a game with Spanish tomorrow night so might decide then.

Have decided to use Persians from ATG list.

It seems appropriatte that as I expect to end up in the bottom of the tabke that I should use an army in decline...

Besides, I don't have to worry about transporting an army from the US to play with.

Well I guess there had to be 1, I am bringing a 'C' Celt army (if I can fit them all on the table that is )
it has been 5 or 6 years since I played a WAB comp and 4 years since any comp game, I am seriously looking forward to it . And I even remember alot of the names coming along
