They look good - nice photos too. That shield on the first elie is really eye-catching - looks so realistic IMO. Dean

Just wonderful. Like the plain colour howda and colourful shield contrast.

It's an awful stereotype, and I'm quite tired, but I was scrolling quickly through the post and initially thought the first shot was a 'source material' photo. Took me a second to rewire my brain correctly. So, yes, very realistic.

Me likey! I thoroughly approve of the light-weight (hide?) towers; they make a nice contrast to the heavier wooden ones on the Hellenistic Asian beasts. The size contrast between the two types looks "right" to me, too. I think you did a great job of capturing the characteristics of an African ellie. Even though we don't know exactly what Loxodonta pharaonensis looked like, this is recognizable as kin to Loxodonta cyclotis, which is as close as we can get. Nice job.

The large ears of elephants, exaggerated in this film, do not hear well, despite their size. They are instead used to help keep themselves cool. There are many blood vessels in the ears, that as they are flapped, easily circulate the blood and keep body temperatures down, an ability that is essential in their desert climates. Elephants ears are so effective due to their size, ranging from two to three feet across.
